Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be playable at gamescom this week. The highly anticipated FPS will be on show, with the Special Ops survival mode being available to those who attend the event in Cologne, Germany. Fans will also get a sneak peek at Call of Duty: Elite.
Other games on show at gamescom 2011 from Activision include Prototype 2 and GoldenEye 007: Reloaded. Hardcore CoD players will also be able to participate in a qualifying tournament for a place at the Call of Duty XP event in LA.
