US sports network ESPN will be showing the world premiere of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on May 23.
Activision’s unveil is scheduled to take place during game 4 of the Western Conference NBA Finals. The time given for said game is 21:00 EST, which will be 02:00 on Tuesday May 24 in the UK.
“Tune in for the Modern Warfare 3 World Premiere on May 23rd during game 4 of the Western Conference Finals on ESPN,” says a public Facebook invite from the Modern Warfare 3 page. Don’t worry – everybody is invited.
While this event will mark the official reveal of Modern Warfare 3, information about the game dropped slightly ahead of schedule, and many of the Modern Warfare 3 single-player details were leaked – including an entire draft of the game.
Activision made Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 official the day after the leak.
Yesterday, Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg discussed the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 leak.
While nothing official has been confirmed, many UK retailers have suggested a November 8 release for Modern Warfare 3.
