Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s two Content Collections will be reduced to 600 Microsoft Points (£5.14) each as part of next week’s Xbox Live sale.
The sale sees 50% knocked off the asking price of Content Collection 1 & Content Collection 2 between July 3 and July 9. Each pack would normally set you back 1200 MSP (£10.28).
Both packs include a handful of additional multiplayer maps and Spec Ops missions.
Content Collection 1 features MP maps ‘Liberation’, ‘Piazza’, ‘Overwatch’ and ‘Black Box’, and contains two Spec Ops missions: ‘Black Ice’ and ‘Negotiator’.
Meanwhile, Content Collection 2 includes maps ‘Foundation’, ‘Sanctuary’, and ‘Oasis’, plus Spec Ops missions ‘Iron Clad’ and ‘Kill Switch’. The pack also includes two Face Off maps: ‘Lookout’ and ‘Getaway’.
Call of Duty: Elite subscribers already have access to both packs as part of their premium subscription.
In addition to the reduced MW3 Content Collections, all four of Call of Duty: Black Ops’ DLC packs will also be reduced to 600 MSP each.
First Strike, Escalation, Annihilation and Rezurrection will all be available at the knockdown price.
There’s no word on whether PlayStation 3 players will see similar reductions on PlayStation Network.
