The Modern Warfare 2 Season 4 update recently introduced a handful of new bundles to the in-game store, but none have arguably been as popular as Season 3 Reloaded’s addition of the WSOW Rat Pack bundle. This is mainly due to the fact that as soon as it was released, numerous fans immediately headed to the shop in order to pick up the cheese-loving and gun-toting skin for themselves.
Now, based on a Reddit post from TheRealPdGaming, it seems that Modern Warfare 2 publisher Activision is offering the Rat Pack bundle for free to Prime users ahead of the Season 5 release date, meaning those that held off on purchasing it can get it without spending a single dime – apart from the Prime subscription, that is. Several commenters rejoiced upon hearing news of the free cosmetic as anthropicuniverse said: “Fantastic, I hope they continue to make 24 dollar bundles free after the fact.”
TheLankySoldier then added themselves to Modern Warfare 2’s growing rodent horde as they noted that “we’re gonna have a big rat problem soon, and I’m one of them.” “Redeemed it, equipped it. I’m so glad I matured and I haven’t spent on MTX (microtransactions) for this game. Patience is a virtue,” they continued. Of course, there were a few mean-spirited responders as well that made fun of those that purchased the bundle beforehand as ThunderTRP mentioned: “All the rats who actually bought it [are] now crying.”
With that said, if you want to join in on the Modern Warfare 2 Rat Pack mob, then you’ll simply need to be subscribed to Amazon Prime after which you’ll have to connect your Activision account to redeem the bundle. To do so, head to the World Series of Warzone Rat Pack page on the Prime Gaming website and press the “Get In-Game Content” button and you’re well on your way to dominating with your very own rodent-themed costume.
