Telltale Games has announced that Minecraft: Story Mode – Season 2 is indeed a thing, after an Australian classification for the first episode leaked its existence last week.
Season two will continue the story from the first season, and your choices will carry over, but we are assured that it’s a standalone game too. After saving the world and becoming famous heroes, the gang are having trouble settling back into normal life. Luckily adventure arrives in the form of a creepy gauntlet in an underwater temple.
There’ll also be cameos from ‘personalities from the Minecraft community on YouTube’, including Stampy Cat and stacyplays.
Episode 1: Hero in Residence will be out on July 11, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, iOS and Android.
