Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has revealed a new trailer for Middle-earth: Shadow of War that shows a number of the monsters, beasts, orcs and more that the player will encounter in the game’s open world when it comes out in October.
The Shadow of War Monsters trailer focuses on the monsters who are spreading fear throughout Mordor. Playing as Talion, the player will come across many fire-breathing drakes, graugs, caragors, spiders, Ghûls and much more, throughout the open world and also in the story-based missions. The ancient Balrog Tar Goroth also makes a particularly violent appearance, though it’s unclear whether the Balrog we see now remains that way or if it transitions into a sexual entity at some point during the game.
Middle-earth: Shadow of War is an action video game, and continues from the events in Shadow of Mordor. Talion is working with the spirit of the elf Celebrimbor to thwart the uprising of Sauron and his Nazgul forces.
Middle-earth: Shadow of War is out on October 10 for PS4, Xbox One and PC
