Xbox LIVE celebrates its 10th anniversary tomorrow and it appears that Microsoft is rewarding its most loyal customers with an anniversary themed Xbox 360 console.
One Reddit user claims to have been contacted by Microsoft back in October about the 10th anniversary of Xbox LIVE, stating that he is “one of their most valued members”. Skip forward a few weeks until yesterday and a box containing an anniversary themed Xbox 360 turned up in the post. Pictures of the package look real, and a similar story has appeared on Kotaku.
Microsoft hasn’t confirmed it’s sending out consoles, but Major Nelson did Tweet to say: “XboxLIVEis10 this week and yes we plan on celebrating it with you. Details in a few days.”
