Reports spread yesterday of a Halo movie coming in 2012 from Dreamworks and Steven Spielberg. Microsoft has told VideoGamer.com this morning that the information in the original press release was inaccurate.
“The information in the press release in question is inaccurate,” a Microsoft spokesperson told VideoGamer.com. “We have no plans for a “Halo” feature film right now. Our focus is on developing “Halo: Anniversary” and “Halo 4″.”
Halo: Anniversary is due for release on Xbox 360 on November 15. Halo 4 is due at the end of 2012.
