Microsoft mouthpiece and man-of-many-game-reveals Phil Spencer has confirmed that the company is working on the next Xbox console.

Big Phil dropped the tasty tidbit during his closing speech at Microsoft's E3 press conference, right before that Cyberpunk 2077 trailer.

While he didn't reveal much about the new system, he did confirm that the team behind Xbox One X's launch is 'deep into architecturing the next Xbox console, where we will once again deliver on our commitment to deliver the benchmark of console gaming.'

Microsoft had an absolute monster of a presser, showcasing a whopping 50 games including Devil May Cry 5, Gears 5, Halo Infinite, Dying Light 2, Forza Horizon 4, and Just Cause 4.
