Microsoft and NVIDIA have announced a 10-year agreement, which brings Xbox PC games to the GeForce Now cloud gaming service. This deal now means that players will be able to stream various Xbox PC titles through GeForce Now on a variety of systems, such as PCs, MacOS, Chromebooks, smartphones, and more.

The signing of this agreement also means that it will enable players to stream Activision Blizzard PC titles, such as Call of Duty, through GeForce Now. However, this will only be possible once Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision closes.

Additional statements made by NVIDIA SVP Jeff Fisher noted that “through this partnership, more of the world’s most popular titles will now be available from the cloud with just a click, playable by millions more gamers.” The announcement goes on to mention that it “resolves NVIDIA’s concern with Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard.” The press release is then ended with NVIDIA confirming its full support for regulatory approval of Microsoft’s acquisition.

The deal was announced a mere few hours after the tech giant had signed a similar 10-year partnership with Nintendo. The decade-long agreement will similarly bring Call of Duty titles to the Switch and any other future consoles throughout its duration.

It’s currently unclear when Call of Duty is going to be available through GeForce Now since the deal is yet to be closed. However, Microsoft’s partnership with Nintendo and NVIDIA could indicate the inevitability of the tech giant’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard.

Microsoft’s deal with NVIDIA is great news for the community as a whole as it would not only allow them to stream Call of Duty titles but it would also enable them to play Xbox and Activision PC games whenever and wherever they want.
