Miasma Chronicles Release Date – when can you play it?

Miasma Chronicles, the post-apocalyptic SRPG from 505 Games and The Bearded Ladies, will be gracing consoles worldwide soon and players can’t help but wonder when they can start getting their hands on it.

Fortunately, the game’s launch time frame has now been revealed so players will now have a specific date to look forward to. So without further ado, here’s when the release date for Miasma Chronicles is going to be.

When is the release date for Miasma Chronicles?

Miasma Chronicles will be released digitally on May 23, 2023 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the PC. Physical game collectors, on the other hand, will have to wait a few more weeks as the retail version will only be available on June 9, 2023 in Europe and June 20, 2023 in North America.

Based on the trailer that was shown during the March 2023 Future Games Show Spring Showcase, it seems that the game is only available on current generation consoles, so those that are yet to upgrade will unfortunately not be able to play it. For those unfamiliar, the game’s plot revolves around a mysterious force known as the Miasma, which has practically ravaged Earth and those within it. The responsibility of combating this sinister entity lies with a boy named Elvis and his robot brother, Diggs.

Abandoned by his mother as a baby, Elvis was left with only a glove to remember her by. However, this deceptive piece of clothing apparently has the ability to control the Miasma itself, which will help him in his quest to combat the terrifying force. Armed with this unique heirloom, he and his brother venture into the post-apocalyptic wasteland in search of answers to unravel the mystery of the world-ending Miasma.
