Q Entertainment has announced the October 2008 release of Meteos Wars for Xbox LIVE Arcade, promising a host of single and multiplayer game modes, new special techniques and a audio/visual facelift.
Meteos Wars will feature over 20 planets, each with its own alien race, Meteos block styles, unique gravity effects and visual and audio style. We’re also told players will have to master all-new special techniques, the Planet Impact attacks: Armageddon, Gambit, Sentinel and Tempest.
Single-player game modes include Mission, Vs and Attack, the latter including three challenges: 1-minute, 100-Meteo and Challenge. Multiplayer options will include Xbox LIVE Matchmaking and local head-to-head for 1-2 players.
Meteos Wars is scheduled for release in October and will be priced 800 MS Points.
