Metal Gear Survive hasn’t had the smoothest of launches, with the zombie-killing spin-off plagued by numerous server issues following its release on PS4, PC, and Xbox One last week.

Developer Konami has attempted to iron out many of these wrinkles in a new update however, and as a means of an apology, as also offered a bunch of in-game freebies for players to snap up. Those of you who created a new character for Metal Gear Survive before February 27 can claim 100 free SV Coins and a single Premium boost pass by simply logging into the game.

Meanwhile, Survive’s latest update applies a number of balance changes for cooperative missions, notably for Clear Rank on hard difficulty, rewards, and improving matchmaking in general. You can view the full patch notes in Konami’s Tweet. ‘We know there’s been some bumps during launch and we’re working hard to sort out the final issues,’ said the publisher.

Metal Gear Survive apparently features a stealthy message from Konami staff to former developer Hideo Kojima, and will be getting a new co-op mode, known as Rescue Mission, next month.
