Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection – a compendium of eight previously-released Metal Gear titles – is set to roll into Europe this September, Konami has announced.
The PS3-exclusive collection includes all four core Metal Gear Solid titles, including Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: HD Edition, Metal Gear Solid 3: HD Edition and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, alongside the original MSX versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD Edition, Metal Gear Solid: Special Missions and both Metal Gear Solid digital graphic novels.
A price for The Legacy Collection has yet to be announced, but the title retails for around $50 (£33) in the US.
The next entry in the series, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is due for release on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in the (likely somewhat distant) future.
