Epic Games China and Delkans have announced Mercenary Ops, a new third-person military shooter due for release on PC in North America and Europe in the summer. The game is on show at GDC in San Francisco this week.
Powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine 3, Mercenary Ops resembles Counter-Strike if it was given a Gears of War style makeover – complete with the now famous cover system mechanic.
The team at Epic Games China is largely formed of ex-Ubisoft Shanghai employees. Mercenary Ops is expected to arrive at retail for PC in the summer.
