Media Molecule is collaborating with lead studio Sumo Digital on the development of LittleBigPlanet 3, SCEE boss Jim Ryan has revealed.
“Sumo Digital, very talented developers,” he told Gamereactor, “we’re really happy to be working with them. There is involvement from Media Molecule. You know, Little Big Planet is something that is very close to hearts of those guys, they’re not going to let completely go of it, but it is Sumo who is developing it and that partnership is working real well.”
LittleBigPlanet 3 is the first numbered title in the series not to be developed by creator Media Molecule, which is currently working on an unannounced PS4 title.
LBP3 is due on PlayStation 4 this November, with a PS3 version also expected to be in development.
