The Black Panther join’s Marvel’s Avengers in the War for Wakanda expansion today, so naturally there’s a launch trailer to mark the occasion.

Of course, the Black Panther has not arrived alone. This means the arrival of a few new villains including black market arms dealer Ulysses Klaue and the mercenary Crossbones. There’s plenty of favourite allies too, including Captain of the Dora Milaje, Okoye, and his sister Princess Shuri. They’ll all play an important part in the story and the battle to keep Wakanda safe.

As previously revealed, the story for the campaign has been bolstered by narrative consultant Evan Narcisse, who also worked on Black Panther’s 2018 run in the comic book series. Of course, the comic books were an important source for the story, with 2005’s Who is the Black Panther? by Reginald Hudlin and John Romita Jr. cited as one of the story’s major inspirations.

You’ll be heading into the Wakandan Jungle to destroy sonic fracking towers that have appeared all over the world to extract precious Vibranium. These towers have had the side-effect of corrupting the mineral and causing chaos all around the world. This is what causes the Avengers to team up with King T’Challa to take on the threat.
