The launch of Marvel Rivals Season 3 is less than 48 hours away. On Friday, Phoenix will join the roster as the 40th hero, and players will be able to play on a new Klyntar map. In addition, the new season will bring balance changes, another Battle Pass, and lots of new content. However, besides adding all of these things, NetEase will also remove one of the existing features.
Season 3 will shake things up in many ways, and we expect Marvel Rivals to be more fun than before. The game developer will remove one of the least popular features, which will remove the grind element and make Battle Pass progression much smoother.
The next Marvel Rivals season will remove the daily grind
The upcoming Marvel Rivals Battle Pass has been controversial due to the removal of certain aspects of it. However, its premium version is certainly worth it, as it features 10 amazing costumes. The best thing? Leveling up the Battle Pass will be easier and less like a chore with the launch of Season 3 on Friday.
As NetEase previously revealed, daily missions will be removed once the new season comes out. Their Chrono Token rewards will be redistributed to other missions, including weekly quests and challenges.
We had an opportunity to play the early access version of the new season, and this is what the Missions page looks like in it.
Besides the removal of daily tasks, NetEase has improved weekly missions. Uncompleted missions will roll over and be completable until the end of the mid-season. Furthermore, the upcoming Marvel Rivals update features new season missions, which last for an entire season and can be completed repeatedly for rewards.
Finally, the game developer has added new mission types and removed excessive hero-specific missions. All of these changes will make the Battle Pass progression a breeze, and there is no doubt that the season will be much more fun.
