Marvel Rivals released its Season 2.5 update in late May, introducing Ultron, the game’s first flying Strategist hero. This mid-season patch, which included new Team-Up abilities, hero balancing improvements, and the vivid Combat Chest reward track, kept players engaged on the battlefield. However, now it’s time for something new.
As Season 2.5 approaches its end, excitement for Season 3 is building. Here’s when the new Marvel Rivals season comes out and what you can expect.
Marvel Rivals Season 3 release date
The release date and time of Marvel Rivals Season 3 July 11 at 9 AM UTC (5 AM Eastern Time). The new season will bring lots of fresh content, including a new Battle Pass, balance changes, and a new hero. Jean Grey (Phoenix) will join the impressive roster as the 40th hero, while Blade will arrive with Season 3.5 in August.

It’s important to note that Season 3 won’t begin right away due to downtime. Due to this, the start time of the season will likely be 11 AM UTC, as we expect the downtime to last two hours.
