Marvel Rivals leak hints at mind-blowing skins coming soon

Marvel Rivals players have been raving about the game’s latest cosmetic offerings as Season 2 begins on April 11, 2025. The release of gorgeous Hellfire Gala-themed skins, including the eye-catching Emma Frost X-Revolution bundle, has taken the community by storm, with social media platforms flooded with reactions to the vibrant designs.

The viral popularity of prior releases has fueled curiosity and excitement about what’s coming, with fans demanding summer-themed hero skins, like Emma Frost exchanging her diamond form for a sleek swimsuit or Iron Fist relaxing in beach-ready attire. The latest Marvel Rivals leaks have hinted at a big summer update, as the first look for two heroes is already here.

Upcoming Marvel Rivals comic teases two summer skins releasing soon

Marvel recently announced its upcoming Marvel Rivals Infinity Comic series on Marvel Unlimited, which will see Emma Frost, Wolverine, Psylocke, and more heroes battle an army of Ultron sentries right as Season 2 kicks off. The comic cover features some outfits teased on the Hellffire Gala Season 2 trailer.

However, two outfits stood out that are leaked to be themed not after the gala, but rather the game’s much rumored summer update. The skins for Jeff the Land Shark and Squirrel Girl on the cover features lei around their bodies as well as beachy hats on them, hinting they will be themed after a summer event that will drop around Season 2.5.

At the same time, a nameplate featuring the same Squirrel Girl skin was also leaked, which confirms the summer theme of her outfit. Furthermore, Jeff’s skin was also seen on the loading screen for Krakoa, which features multiple Rivals heroes, including a Greek-inspired outfit for Thor.

Looking at the leaks, players are already hyped since they cannot wait to see their heroes in swimsuits, which may break the internet once again. Some are already sharing their wishlisted designs, be it Doctor Strange in swimming trunks or even The Thing in a thong.

While NetEase hasn’t revealed any such plans for a seasonal event, it’s highly possible that, similar to the Winter Festival, a Summer event is surely to arrive in the coming weeks.
