Deadpool is finally available in Marvel Rivals, and it’s been super fun playing with him over the past 24 hours. While the hero is entertaining, he also has some issues that make him completely broken. In fact, the Merc with a Mouth is the most overpowered hero in the game, and it’s not even close.

Yes, he can play all three roles, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Deadpool also brings visual clutter, distracting voice lines, powerful abilities, and even his ultimate works differently. On top of all of this, you can’t even ban him completely in ranked, as your team would need three bans to do so.

Deadpool is the strongest character in Marvel Rivals

Deadpool has been out for only a day, so naturally, learning how to counter him will take a bit more time. However, the new Marvel Rivals hero is so flexible that it’s impossible to even avoid him in the ranked mode. If you decide to ban him, you will only be able to select one of his roles to ban, which is quite ridiculous.

While the ban situation is bad, what’s even worse is his ultimate ability. NetEase has released a special mechanic for Deadpool, allowing him to charge up his special ability much faster.

The new Marvel Rivals season has nerfed several healers, which makes Deadpool even more powerful. As a Strategist, Wade Wilson can gain his ultimate ability in less than five seconds. All he has to do is bounce on his teammates’ heads, healing them with each jump and charging up his ultimate.

Deadpool will undoubtedly be nerfed with the next Marvel Rivals update, but we’re not sure if NetEase will be able to balance him properly. He’s been a nightmare to deal with, but things may get better once players get used to him.

How do you rate the current Marvel Rivals season?
