The upcoming season of Marvel Rivals will drastically change support heroes. NetEase has revealed balance changes that are coming on Friday, January 16, and most of them negatively impact healers. Are we going to get another support strike later this week? It’s not unlikely.

Four healers will be nerfed starting Friday, so it will be interesting to see how the community will adapt to these changes. At the same time, the Marvel Rivals developer will buff several tanks, while Deadpool will be able to perform any of the three roles.

Marvel Rivals healers will be nerfed in Season 6

As we previously guessed, Deadpool will be a hybrid hero in Marvel Rivals. You will be able to use him as a tank, a damage dealer, or a healer. This is pretty much the only positive news for support mains, as four heroes will receive significant nerfs on Friday.

Cloak & Dagger will share charges on Veil of Lightforce and Terror Cape abilities, while Dagger’s healing was reduced from 55/s to 45/s. Fortunately, the healer now gives allies a one-time healing of 60 with a spell field from the healing ability.

Gambit’s Big Easy Impact Healing Amount per explosion was reduced from 25 to 15 (total from 75 to 45), and Ragin’ Royal Flush’s Healing from 75/s to 55/s. Bridge Boost bounces on a single target were set to a maximum of two.

Invisible Woman has her Guardian Shield value decreased from 250 to 200, and her shield restoration rate after reclaiming was lowered from 42/s to 34/s. The shield now grants Sue Storm less healing as well, as it was reduced from 50/s to 25/s.

Finally, Rocket Raccoon’s mobility has taken a hit with the new season. The fan-favorite healer, who has the second-highest win rate among Strategists in Season 5.5, will move 20% slower using his Wild Crawl passive ability.
