Tripwire Interactive has marked today’s launch of expansion Maneater: Truth Quest with a new trailer for the mutant shark-fronted adventure.

Set after the events of the main game, the action moves over to Plover Island just off the coast of Port Clovis. Along with documentary filmmaker-turned-conspiracy theorist Trip Westhaven (Rick and Morty’s Chris Parnell) you’ll once more be hunting and evolving your way to the top of the underwater food chain.

You can expect an entirely new Evolution Set with the level cap now increased to 40. There’s five new organ evolutions, and a new additional organ slot unlocked at 35. New wildlife including an ‘Uber’ Apex Predator. Some of the hunt creatures have also had an upgrade with evolutions of their own.

The humans too, have had an upgrade in this expansion; you’ll have to contend with the Site P military complex. Site P will be launching new attacks from beaches and fortifications, and even attack from helicopters in the air. There’s five new Bounty Bosses, each wielding new weapons and driving new vehicles. You can also expect new mission types, including time trials.

The Maneater: Truth Quest expansion is available from today for the game on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC. Check out the trailer below.
