Madden 23 revealed its next round of Team Of The Week (TOTW) players today at 10:30AM ET on ‘Good Morning Madden’. This brand new drop will be available in Madden 23 later today.
Several players, unsurprisingly, produced big performances over Week 5. However, only ten players can be selected for each TOTW, which include two Champions that predominantly (if not always) consist of former players.
So many great games took place over Week 5. The Giants upset the Packers 27-22 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, the Patriots shutout the Lions 29-0, the Eagles are still the only remaining undefeated team at 5-0 after winning against the Cardinals 20-17, and the Ravens beat the Bengals 19-17 in the dying seconds with a game-winning field goal.
These are only a few of the many great battles that took place over Week 5 and several players rose to the occasion for their respective teams. Without further ado, here’s the full selection of the Week 5 TOTW players in Madden 23.

Player Of The Week (91 Overall)
The Madden 23 Week 5 Player Of The Week, is none other than Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. In what was a riveting, back-and-forth dual between the Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders last night, Kelce hauled in seven receptions on eight targets for 25 yards and caught all four Chiefs touchdowns in their 30-29 victory.
I predicted that Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen would receive the Player Of The Week honors. But considering Bills SS Jordan Poyer was the featured player last week, it’s understandable why they chose to select a different star this time around.
Limited Edition (91 Overall)
Along with the Champions for the Madden 23 TOTW program, the Limited Edition is an additional area where MUT will choose to highlight a standout performance in a previous season that took place on the same game week.
This week, they did so again, selecting none other than former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson (who currently plays on the Denver Broncos) as their Limited Edition player. In Week 5 of the 2019 NFL season, Wilson threw for 268 passing yards and four touchdowns.
