Lost Planet 3 sold only 300,000 units across North America and Europe, Capcom has revealed in its latest financial results.
Capcom had forecast sales of 1.2 million copies.
It’s also worth noting that Capcom’s figure refer to units sold-in to retailers, not through to consumers, meaning actual sales are likely to be much lower given the game’s poor chart performance.
Given the downward trend of Lost Planet, it seems unlikely we’ll see Capcom return to the franchise anytime soon.
