Sony has confirmed that LittleBigPlanet Karting is in development, although hasn’t given any information on the title.
“Update: We can confirm that LittleBigPlanet Karting is in fact in development and we look forward to sharing more on the game soon!” tweeted the Sony Twitter account.
The new game was originally revealed in a Tweet by Canadian online retailer FutureShop.
“At #Playstation Destination Little Big Planet Cart racing announced for ps3. Move compatible wheel and 3D capable!” Tweeted the retailer.
The retailer was at PlayStation Destination in Arizona, where it also saw a PlayStation Move compatible racing wheel, presumably being released alongside LittleBigPlanet Karting.
While the game was reported to be a PlayStation 3 title by FutureShop, hopefully Sony will see fit to bring the game to Vita too.
