Xbox has confirmed the first round of Xbox Game Pass offerings for the first half of April 2022.

As per the Xbox Wire, we kick off the next two weeks of offerings with a couple of similarly-themed bat and ball sports games. Baseball fans can get their hands on MLB The Show 22 on Cloud and Console, the second year the PlayStation Studios developed series has appeared on the service. Fans of knocking off wickets meanwhile can get their fill of their sport of choice in Cricket 22, also on Cloud and Console.

‘Cybernoir’ point and click adventure Chinatown Detective Agency is another day one addition to the service on April 7 on Cloud, Console and PC. Three EA Play titles will also be available in the Cloud on the same day, so Ultimate subscribers can play Dragon Age 2, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare and Star Wars Squadrons from almost anywhere.

April 12 will then see the latest Life is Strange game arrive on Xbox Game Pass on Cloud, Console and PC. Life is Strange: True Colors introduces us to Alex Chen who has super-powered empathy in this entirely self-contained story in the much-loved series. PC owners meanwhile will get strategy Panzer Corps 2 and tactical RPG The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk. Finally, April 14 will welcome the addition of gothic dice-based fairytale Lost in Random on Cloud, Console and PC.

As ever, a few games depart the service in the next couple of weeks including last year’s MLB The Show 21. Also exiting the party is Rain on Your Parade, The Long Dark and Pathway which all leave Xbox Game Pass on April 15. F1 2019 will also go into the garage from April 18, so get on that while you can.
