Just a few days after Madonna made her (sort of) debut in Fortnite, another female pop icon has confirmed she’s going to be the headline of the second season for Fortnite Festival.

Lady Gaga has announced on her X (formerly Twitter) account that she’ll be heading to the game on February 22, posting a teaser image of her character model hidden behind a smoky background to the delight of her fans.

Hilariously, Gaga made the reveal by also referencing her infamous tweet from back in 2019, asking “What’s Fortnight?” to her army of little Monsters.

In fact, Gaga has long been rumoured for the battle royale shooter, with a number of Fortnite leakers claiming to find references to the singer as far back as Summer 2022. Even before it became known that Fortnite would be getting its own music-centric mode.

Lady Gaga will have two skins in Fortnite, as one of them will be available through the Festival Pass, which will cost 1,800 V-Bucks. Furthermore, Epic Games will add the following songs as Jam Tracks:

  • Applause
  • Bloody Mary
  • Born This Way
  • The Edge of Glory
  • Just Dance
  • Poker Face
  • Rain On Me
  • Stupid Love

A few other cosmetics will be obtainable through the pass as well, including Nelly’s hit Ride Wit Me. The Gramy Award-winning artist will also have a LEGO Fortnite variant for her Item Shop skin, and it will cost 1,500 V-Bucks. The Rain Check emote will be priced at 500 V-Bucks, while Chromatica instruments will be 1,000 each.

She also already has at least one song – Bad Romance – already available in Fortnite Festival. Presumably though, many of her other tracks will be both playable and usable as Jam tracks once she arrives.

We won’t have long, presumably, to find out more – with what else is set to come in Fortnite Festival Season 2 set to be revealed within the next day or two.
