Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new trailer for it’s upcoming brawler Dragon Ball FighterZ. The trailer focuses on the shiny headed, hyperactive, angry wee man Krillin, and showcases some of his best moves.

Krillin is often seen as the comic relief in the series because of his diminutive stature, combined with his constant rage at anything and everything, he’s also usually one of the first to get their asses kicked (soundly) by new antagonists.

Dragon Ball FighterZ held a closed beta over the past weekend, and this gave folks their first crack at the game. The beta wasn’t without its flaws, however, but that’s what betas are for, after all. Having played it over the weekend, I experienced a few random disconnects, servers lockouts and moments where the controller wouldn’t respond. If you could get into an online match, though, it’s quite the joyful endeavour, with mostly responsive controls, great character design and wonderful visuals to boot.

The game is being developed by Arc System Works, the developers behind the excellent Guilty Gear series. This 3v3 2D frenetic fighting game is looking pretty good, and is being further bolstered with a steady procession of characters taken from the hit anime series.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is coming out on the PS4, Xbox One and PC in early 2018
