Microsoft has announced that Kingdom of Fire: Circle of Doom, a title previously set for a holiday 2007 release, will now ship across Europe on February 1. However, gamers in Japan, mainland Asia, Australia and New Zealand will be able to buy the game from December 13.
Circle of Doom is the third in the critically acclaimed series – two previous titles were released on Xbox – and marks a change to the previously successful formula. In the latest game developer Blueside has opted for an action-RPG rather than the mix of action and RTS seen in the Xbox titles.
In Circle of Doom players will explore randomly generated dungeons, all the while learning new abilities, customising weaponry and fighting off hordes of enemies. For even more fun, adventurers can log onto Xbox LIVE and team up in parties of four.
