The Killzone 3 multiplayer beta will be opened to everyone from 11am GMT tomorrow morning, February 3, the Official EU PlayStation Blog is reporting.
The beta will end on February 15, ten days before the game hits stores on February 25.
Beta players will be able to sample a single map, MP05 ‘Frozen Dam’, a sprawling asymmetrical map set in an old dam facility. 24 players will be supported in Warzone, 16 in Guerrilla Warfare and Operations, and bot matches can be played in Botzone.
A single-player demo will be released on February 16, a day after the beta ends.
While officially labelled as a beta, for most people it will be seen as a way to try the game ahead of release and make a judgement on if it’s worth buying. Any feedback from players will hopefully be worked into a patch close to the game’s release.
