Project Sora, the studio behind 3DS title Kid Icarus Uprising, has been closed, reports the studio’s website (via Andriasang).
The studio was formed in 2009 by Masahiro Sakurai, with the help of investment by Nintendo, Sakurai’s Sora studio, and other parties.
It looks like Kid Icarus Uprising will be the one and only title to emerge from the Japanese studio.
Sakurai has since moved on to work as director on Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS.
