Codemasters Online & NetDevil today announced that Jumpgate Evolution, the upcoming space combat MMO, has reached a landmark 250,000 Beta sign ups in North America and Europe. The game has also become Codemasters Online’s biggest ever Beta campaign.

“This is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved with Jumpgate Evolution,” said David Solari, Vice President, Codemasters Online. “We have received overwhelming support for the game since the commencement of its Beta sign up last year and our fans have been clamouring for the Beta. We expect our fans to agree that it was well worth the wait.”

Developed by MMO veteran NetDevil, Jumpgate Evolution is a space combat MMO set in a vast and expanding universe. Players choose from three playable nations and embark on a space adventure in which they will trade valuable commodities, take part in intergalactic battles, meet and play with friends and have the chance to become an intergalactic hero.
