The PSP will receive its very own version of Juiced, the street racing game from THQ that performed pretty well in the UK charts – no doubt helped by the TV advertising campaign that was running alongside its launch. The PSP game, Juiced: Eliminator, will feature WiFi multiplayer as well as a full single-player career mode.

It seems that most of the modes from the home console and PC versions will ported over to the handheld, and a few new game modes will also be included. Eliminator will include 60 cars (eight more than the original game), plus two locations, eight tracks and eight characters that didn’t appear in the original.

IGN spoke to Tim Preece, Director of Handheld Games at Juice Games, about the game and he had this to say about Juiced: Eliminator not simply being a port of the original game:

Juiced Eliminator is not a port of Juiced; it is significantly evolved and introduces a whole raft of new game modes, cars, tracks and characters,” said Preece. “The experience reflects feedback we received about Juiced and we’re confident that we will build on the success of Juiced with Juiced Eliminator for PSP.”

We’ll bring you more on Juiced: Eliminator, including any new game modes, as it’s announced.
