The PS4 versions of Journey and The Unfinished Swan won’t just render at 1080p, but run “at or near 60fps”, too, according to a new hands-on report.
According to IGN, the PS4 version of Journey is the “most [graphically] impressive” of the two, with the “lighting effects, the sand, and the way your character’s robes move and sway [making] for an aesthetically impressive experience.”
The original PS3 version of Journey ran at 30fps, 720p.
The Unfinished Swan, meanwhile, remains “as quirky as ever” on PS4, with both games reportedly being available as cross-buy. Only Journey had previously been confirmed as supporting cross-buy.
Both games are due to release on PS4 later this year.
