Jane’s Advanced Strike Fighters, an action flight simulator for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, will be released in the UK on March 9, 2012, Deep Silver has announced.
In Jane’s Advanced Strike Fighters, players engage in air combat to end a civil war in the fictitious state of Azbaristan. Action takes place in 16 missions covering 65,000 square kilometres of mountains, deserts and urban landscapes, and includes 30 detailed jet fighters from the USA, Russia, Europe and China.
Multiplayer modes allow up to 16 fighter pilots to battle in the skies, or up to four players to work cooperatively to solve the conflict.
JASF isn’t quite as catchy as HAWX, but the acronym does lend itself to some “hilarious” titles – Jane’s Amazing Strawberry Flan is an example.
