Bethesda has released a new gameplay trailer for The Evil Within 2. This short trailer gives an insight into the stress that Sebastian is experiencing, as he races against time to try and find his daughter. The tension is amplified because he’s being stalked by a number of terrifying monsters, and other nightmarish fiends that are baying for his blood. They can get that thing with the tendrils in its face the hell away from me!
The Evil Within 2 takes place three years after the events of the first game, and it’s a direct sequel to the original. Sebastian Castellanos is back, and he’s being plagued by memories of his daughter Lily and driven to the verge of a mental breakdown. After Sebastian finds out that there’s a chance he can rescue her, he makes his way back once more into the horror of the STEM world to try and find her and escape, before the horror-filled dimension crumbles beneath his feet.
The Evil Within 2 releases worldwide on Friday the 13th, this October on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
