Wild Hearts, the exciting action RPG from EA and Omega Force, continues to excite fans as its gameplay has often been likened to that of the Monster Hunter franchise.

But even though most of its mechanics are eerily similar to the popular Capcom IP, it has a plethora of novel features that make it stand out from its beast slaying counterpart.
However, one detail that continues to remain vague for those looking to play the action-adventure title is whether or not it will be available on the PS4.

Will Wild Hearts be on the PS4?
Unfortunately, Wild Hearts will not be available on the PS4. The action RPG from EA is only available on current generation consoles like the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Based on an interview conducted by IGN, Koei Tecmo directors Kotaro Hirata and Takuto Edagawa confirmed that the reason for the game’s exclusion on older systems is because they “felt it was necessary to maximize the performance of the current platforms.”

This most likely means that the game also won’t be making its way to these consoles at any point in the future. Because of its dynamic visuals, the less powerful hardware of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One may not be able to handle the game’s high graphical output.
Nintendo loyalists will also most likely be disappointed since EA hasn’t revealed any plans to include it on the Switch. However, this hasn’t officially been announced yet so there may still be hope for those playing on the beloved handheld console.
