The action RPG from EA entitled Wild Hearts has been drawing plenty of comparisons to another similar beast slaying creation in Monster Hunter. Though the former’s story, weapons, and monsters are all obviously different, both of their core premises still share many similarities.

Having said that, most of Wild Hearts’ mechanics are seemingly meant to be enjoyed with other players especially since you take on large, dangerous beasts throughout the game. Because of this, players are now wondering if it will have crossplay functionality enabled upon release. Here’s all that we know about the availability of this feature.

Does Wild Hearts have crossplay?

Yes, Wild Hearts does have crossplay so you’ll be able to party up with other hunters no matter what system they’re playing on. Since the game is available on all current generation consoles including the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, you can purchase it on any system you want without having to worry about being left out.

EA had confirmed this detail through their pre-order FAQ page, wherein they also mentioned that “you’ll be able to seamlessly join two friends” on the aforementioned consoles. Additionally, PC players can also purchase the game on different platforms, such as Origin, the Epic Games Store, and Steam, so you’ll have the chance to play no matter which app you prefer.

You will also apparently be able to turn this feature on or off if you choose to do so. You’ll be able to do this by simply heading to the in-game settings, selecting the Overall category, and scrolling down to the Online section. You should then be able to see a selection that says “Crossplay”, which can either be enabled or disabled.
