Although many are comparing its mechanics to that of the Monster Hunter franchise, it seems that this beast slaying creation has its own distinct features that make it stand out from its counterparts.

Now the game is available – people are wanting to know if they can pick it up on the Game Pass service. So here’s all the information you need to know.

Is Wild Hearts on Xbox Game Pass?

The full game of Wild Hearts is not on Xbox Game Pass at launch since it’s not an Xbox exclusive. Players looking to get into the action RPG immediately will only be able to do so by purchasing it for either the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC.

Additionally, Wild Hearts is an EA title so it will be made available through the EA Play app. Keep in mind that if you want to play it for free, you’ll have to subscribe to the higher tiered EA Play Pro service.

However, those on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can play ten hours of the game through the EA Play service. This 10 hour trial is also available to those not on Xbox Game Pass, providing they have an existing EA Play subscription.

Day One Game Pass releases are usually only for titles that are Xbox exclusives, like Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment. However, it may eventually be included with the subscription service at some point in the future since similar titles like Monster Hunter Rise had also eventually made its way to the platform.

Previous generation console players are similarly disappointed since the game will also not be available on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The Switch was similarly excluded from the game’s list of compatible systems, much to the chagrin of the Nintendo fan base.

It’s worth noting, though, that the reason for its exclusion from these systems is due to Omega Force’s decision to fully take advantage of the graphical capabilities of modern systems.
