The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim features what is thought to be a Minecraft Easter egg. Spotted by Geekology, it appears players can find a Notched Pickaxe in the Throat of the World region, believed to be a nod to the iconic Minecraft pickaxe and the game’s creator Marcus ‘Notch’ Persson.
The pickaxe doesn’t really look all that much like the tool which forms the basis of Minecraft, but it seems like more than a coincidence the item exits.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is out now for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
