Will The Finals be on the PS5?

The Finals will be on PS5 when it launches. The developers have confirmed via its website and various trailers that The Finals will be available on all current generation consoles when the full game launches.

The FPS title’s official Twitter page also mentions that it will be playable on PC and consoles, which is further evidence that this won’t only be exclusive on Steam. Unfortunately, a release date for the full game is still yet to be announced so console players may have to wait a little longer before they can start creating chaos.

For now, those who want to play it early will only be able to do so by registering for the early access period on Valve’s popular platform. Keep in mind, though, that even if you register for it, not everyone is going to be approved, which means there will inevitably be a few players who are going to be left out of the FPS party.

Hopefully, Embark Studios will announce a release date soon so players can have an inkling of when they’ll be able to play it on consoles. But, in the meantime, all we can do is play the current open beta taking place between October 26 and November 5, 2023.
