Insomnia Gaming Festival is going on tour, returning to Ireland and Scotland for events this summer. Insomnia Ireland will be taking place in Killarney from June 9 to June 11, while Scotland hosts Insomnia X Resonate in Glasgow from July 21 to July 23.

Insomnia features showcases from various publishers and exhibitors, as well as various gaming YouTubers and special guests doing meet and greets. There is also, of course, the opportunity to play games, and compete in tournaments against your fellow attendees. Specific attractions vary event to event (as do the cost of tickets).

i61 is the next event in England, taking place in Birmingham, August 25-28. The Birmingham Insomnia has an indoor camping hall at the NEC, for if you just don’t want to leave Insomnia for the whole weekend.

Insomnia is the largest gaming festival in the UK, so will presumably be the largest gaming festival in Ireland, which is not in the UK. Whilst in Scotland it’ll still be the largest gaming festival in the UK, but might have mixed feelings about the whole thing.Â
