3DS gamers looking forward to playing Hyrule Warriors Legends in stereoscopic 3D will want to make sure they’ve got one of the new 3DS systems.
Due to the processing power required to render the number of enemies on screen, the older 3DS systems simply don’t have the specs to pump it out in 3D. Producer Yosuke Hayashi said in an interview with 4Gamer that rather than lower the enemy count the decision was made to simply disable stereoscopic 3D on older systems.
Hyrule Warriors Legends for 3DS will launch in the UK in 2016.
This could be a sign of things to come with future 3DS releases as developers look to take advantage of the nippier new 3DS and new 3DS XL.
