The Big N has released yet another character trailer for upcoming scrapper Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition, this time highlighting the addition of Toon Link and other familiar faces from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

Aside from the legendary Hero of Time, Hyrule Warriors also welcomes the likes of Tetra, Medli, and King Daphnes, plus a heap of recognisable baddies to duff up that have been plucked from the critically acclaimed GameCube title.

Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition is due out for the Nintendo Switch on May 18, and buffs the game's visuals and performance while including all of the characters and stages seen in the original 3DS and Wii U editions of the game.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker was released on GameCube in 2003 and later received a high-definition makeover for the Wii U a few years back.
