Developer Milestone has announced toy racer Hot Wheels Unleashed is to get a Batman Expansion DLC this December.

The new content will include a brand new Career Map inspired by Gotham City along with a new environment based on The Batcave. Naturally, this also means plenty of new tracks and items including a new Joker Funhouse Split builder module. The pack will also include five new vehicles. Namely, The Penguin, Robin 2.0T, Armored Batman, Batman Rebirth and The Joker GT. There’s also a bunch of new Batman customisation items of course to give your existing vehicles that Dark Knight vibe.

It’s far from the only DC tie-in for Hot Wheels Unleashed either. The studio has also announced a DC Super-Villains racing season with new free and premium content to unlock via challenges. There’s six new vehicles, each themed after famous DC baddies. These include Bane, The Cheetah, Poison Ivy, Black Manta, Deathstroke and Harley Quinn. The season will kick off on November 11 and run until January 18, 2022.

The Hot Wheels Unleashed Batman Expansion, meanwhile, will arrive on December 2. You can either buy it separately, or find it included in the game’s Hot Wheels Pass Vol 1. Hot Wheels Unleashed is available now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC.
