Focus Entertainment and Sumo Digital have dropped Season 3 Ostara into PvPvE heist game, Hood: Outlaws and Legends.
The latest update adds a feature much-requested by the community in the form of cross-platform squads. Although the game did support cross-platform play at launch, the implementation was a little lacking. Players could find themselves playing against teams from other platforms, but were unable to squad up with friends on other formats. Now with Season 3, you should be able to team up with friends regardless of where you play.
Elsewhere, the latest season adds over 100 new cosmetics in the game’s latest battle pass. These include 31 outfits, 51 weapon skins and 21 banner packs in all sorts of shapes and sizes for a total of 103 new items to collect. You can check some of those out in the trailer below.
If you’re not familiar, Hood: Outlaws and Legends sees you team up with up to three friends to ‘liberate’ treasure from settlements guarded by NPC guards. However, as well as the computer controlled enemies, you also have to be on your guard for another squad of player controlled characters, who are trying to steal the same thing.
The timing for the Hood: Outlaws and Legends Season 3 release is pretty good too, as the game has just arrived on PlayStation Plus from today too. Season 3 Ostara is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.
