Hogwarts Legacy Day One expected Patch Notes

At the time of writing, Warner Bros Games don’t seem to have provided patch notes for the game’s day one update. Unfortunately, Avalanche Software still also hasn’t published the official update list yet even after both the console and PC versions of the game had already launched. Since the Harry Potter-inspired title has already been fully released, the official list is most likely no longer going to be published.

However, an initial set of patch notes have already been reported by the Hogwarts Legacy Reddit. Based on the previous issues experienced by the player base, this may indeed have been what the day one patch contained. Here’s what they claim is included in the update:

  • Fixed game-crashing issues
  • Addressed stuttering and lag issues
  • Added gameplay adjustments and optimizations
  • Added general stability fixes
  • Added performance improvements
  • Other minor fixes

In the meantime, graphics hardware manufacturers have released their latest game-ready drivers specific to the game – which you should definitely download for the best experience.

You can find the latest Intel Game On 31.0.101.4123 drivers with Hogwarts Legacy support here.

Alternatively, you can find the Nvidia GeForce Game Ready Driver 528.49 with specific launch day fixes for Hogwarts Legacy here.

It should be noted that some players have reported issues with the above driver, however. We’ve investigated here.

Among the list of issues players are hoping will be fixed with subsequent patches include slow menu animations, and a nasty disappearing save bug on PC.
