High Voltage, developer of Wii FPS series Conduit, is interested in having a crack at the NGP and 3DS, art director Matt Corso has told VideoGamer.com.

When asked if he’d like to have a crack on the NGP and 3DS, the response was a resounding yes.

“Sure, absolutely. As a creator, anytime you have an opportunity to develop for a new system, you start thinking of unique ways to use that system,” Corso told us. “It’s very exciting, I think there’s going to be some very unique new games coming out on those platforms.”

Corso believes the handhelds will see first-person shooters doing things that home console titles will try to incorporate.

“I think that they’ll be doing FPS on those platforms that we won’t be seeing on the bigger consoles, and then you’ll most likely see the bigger consoles finding ways they can incorporate some of those new features on their systems,” Corso added.

High Voltage’s Wii exclusive Conduit 2 is out on April 22.
