Arrowhead has recently announced a new upcoming Helldivers 2 warbond called Siege Breakers, set to release on February 3. While the trailer teases the return of deadly Cyborgs from the first game, the bundle itself packs exciting new weapons, including an explosive sledgehammer and throwable shield grenades. We only have to wait less than a week for it to arrive, but Arrowhead has already confirmed statistics and provided more details for some of the upcoming weapons.

The statistics come courtesy of Arrowhead developer Alexus via Discord, who says he “worked mostly on Siege Breakers,” while others worked on the stealth-focused Warbond, Redacted Regiment.

The PlayStation Blog reveals that the CQC-20 Breaching Hammer is a melee weapon that “can do straight smashing, or it can have an explosive charge attached to its head”. Alexus elaborates that it has “limited ammo” with optional reloading, while also revealing that it features “7 charges, 300 melee damage [plus] 2,100 damage from the explosion,” adding that “the explosion is anti-tank”.

In addition to these statistics, Alexus shares that the explosion from the Breaching Hammer doesn’t kill you, but “it staggers you a bit and deals a little damage to your right arm, similar to the Variable/s full blast mode”.

Another weapon included in the Siege Breakers Warbond is the EAT-411 Leveller, which “fires one high-yield missile”. Although exact statistics aren’t provided, Alexus says it deals “more damage in the explosion” and has a “much bigger radius” than the regular EAT-17, which has 150 explosive damage and an inner radius of 1.5 meters.

Alexus also commented on the demolition force for both the Breaching Hammer and the EAT-411 Leveller. Demolition Force refers to damage dealt to destructible structures, which have an invisible HP/Demolition Threshold ranging between 10 and 60. According to Alexus, the demolition force for the Hammer is 30, while the EAT-411 boasts a value of 40.

Finally, Alexus elaborated on the throwable G-SH-39 Shield, which “generates a spherical, projectile-blocking shield,” allowing you to “make your own barrier while you bust down all the others”. The Arrowhead developer claims it’s best used for “Hellbomb objectives and other terminals in general,” while also “making the Maxigun more viable on the Automaton front”.

You will be able to purchase Siege Breakers from the Acquisition Center via the in-game store, accessible aboard the Super Destroyer. Similar to Redacted Regiment, Siege Breakers will cost 1,000 Super Credits (SC), as only Warbonds featuring licensed IPs such as Halo cost 1,500 SC.

The easiest way to obtain 1,000 Super Credits is by purchasing them for $10. However, you can also earn Super Credits for free by completing missions and looting bunkers and containers found at points of interest on the map.

Although not confirmed at this time, it’s possible Cyborgs could return from the first game on the same day Siege Breakers releases. Cyborgs are a faction of human terrorists who essentially turned themselves into machines, and they were responsible for creating the Automatons that run rampant in Helldivers 2.

In Helldivers lore, the Cyborgs were defeated, resulting in Super Earth enslaving and restricting them to their icy, desolate home planet of Cyberstan. You cannot explore Cyberstan in Helldivers 2, but there were leaks back in April 2025 that pointed to the existence of an Automaton homeworld called New Cyberstan.

While the return of Cyborgs hasn’t been officially confirmed as of this writing, the end of the Siege Breakers Warbond trailer alludes to their comeback. If so, their return would occur via an update, similar to the new Commando Missions that were added in update 5.0.2 on the same day Redacted Regiment was released.
